A fresh twist on Shakespeare's timeless tale reimagines what happens when a legendary heroine chooses to write her own destiny instead of succumbing to tragedy. & Juliet makes its South Florida premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts from December 30, 2025, through January 4, 2026, as part of Broadway in Miami's 20th anniversary season.

Created by the Emmy-winning writer of Schitt's Creek, this contemporary musical follows Juliet as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery after deciding not to end her life over Romeo. The story unfolds through a collection of chart-topping pop hits from one of this century's most prolific songwriters, featuring familiar anthems like Since U Been Gone, Roar and Baby One More Time. The production transforms the classic romance into a modern story about second chances and finding love on one's own terms, moving beyond the traditional balcony scene to explore new possibilities for its protagonist.
