Cultural innovators and operatic artistry converge in an intimate celebration of Black excellence in the performing arts. Bold. Black. Beautiful: Behind the Curtain with Florida Grand Opera takes place Saturday, February 22 at the IPC Art Space in Little Haiti.
The evening features a panel of artists and creators discussing the enduring legacy of Black performers in opera, followed by a performance from Florida Grand Opera artists. Award-winning photojournalist Carl-Philippe Juste and Miami-Dade County's 2024 artist in residence, Edouard Duval-Carrié, bring additional creative perspectives to this Black History Month celebration.
Guests can enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and caviar provided by local South Florida businesses while engaging with fellow arts enthusiasts.
