Casandra: Book Presentation and Completamente Diferente
Mar 18, 2025
Starting: 7:00 PM
Celebrated authors and performers come together for an evening of storytelling, music and theatrical exploration. The Casandra IX International Women's Festival presents a multifaceted program at the Sandrell Rivers Theater on Tuesday, March 18, featuring literature, performance and live music.
The evening opens with Juan Lucas Quintero Hernández presenting Adyel Quintero's book Stories to Answer Your Child's Toughest Questions in Life, followed by Yanitzia Canetti's conference El Cuento del Cuento. The program continues with Completamente Diferente, a performance by Lili Renteria under the direction of Jorge Lorenzo, accompanied by the choir and band of the Centro Mater Art Education Program.
This cultural event is part of a broader festival celebrating women's voices in the arts, presented by El Ingenio Teatro. Drawing inspiration from the mythological figure Casandra, the festival brings together mothers, warriors, teachers, artists and dreamers who share their visions through various artistic mediums.
