Food & Poetry in the Gardens

Food, poetry and good vibes come together for an unforgettable evening in Miami Gardens.

Food & Poetry in the Gardens, part of the Jazz in the Gardens Music Fest experience, takes place Wednesday, March 5 from 7-10 p.m. at Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex. This free event, presented by the City of Miami Gardens and Board of County Commissioner Oliver Gibert III, features top local food vendors alongside compelling performances from Miami Gardens' poets and spoken word artists. 

Participants can compete for prizes, with both adult and teen categories offering awards up to $2,500 for first place winners. Those interested in showcasing their poetic talents must register to perform.
