Discover the architectural gems of Miami Beach on a guided walking tour that highlights the city’s iconic design styles. Led by the Miami Design Preservation League, this tour, part of the Art Deco Weekend event lineup, invites participants to explore the Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern (MiMo) styles that define the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District.
Over the course of 1 ½ to 2 hours, participants will visit notable hotels, restaurants and commercial landmarks, with the opportunity to view select interiors. This engaging exploration offers insights into the history and design elements that shaped the area’s aesthetic.
Visitors can choose from various tour times throughout the weekend. Here's the schedule:
Saturday, January 18
- 10:30 a.m. - Noon
- 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, January 19
- 10:30 a.m. - Noon
- 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tours proceed rain or shine, so guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. The meeting point is at the Art Deco Museum.
