A pioneering force in American folk music brings her expansive musical vision to Miami Beach. Rhiannon Giddens and the Old-Time Revue perform at the Miami Beach Bandshell on Friday, May 2, presented by The Rhythm Foundation.

A MacArthur Genius grant recipient and two-time GRAMMY winner, Giddens has earned acclaim as a founding member of Carolina Chocolate Drops and Our Native Daughters. Currently serving as Artistic Director of the Silkroad Ensemble, her work spans folk, opera and ballet composition. Her artistry focuses on illuminating overlooked contributions to American musical history, particularly emphasizing accurate representation of the nation's musical origins.
