Solo Spotlight: Chocolate and Chamber Music
Apr 07, 2025
Starting: 7:00 PM
A multi-sensory experience pairs contemporary chamber music with artisanal chocolate tastings in an innovative concert format. As part of the Solo Spotlight series, NWS presents an evening of chocolate and chamber music on Monday, April 7 at the New World Center.
The program showcases contemporary chamber music by living female composers, with each work paired with a carefully selected chocolate from Miami's Romanicos Chocolate. The four distinct flavor profiles are designed to complement and enhance the emotional qualities and textures of the music, creating a compelling interplay between taste and sound.
This performance, part of New World Symphony's BLUE Projects initiative, offers audiences a fresh approach to experiencing classical music while supporting local artisans. The BLUE program encourages Fellows to develop innovative performance concepts alongside their musical training.
Tickets are available on a pay-what-you-wish basis starting at $10, with all proceeds supporting the New World Symphony Fellows program.
"This unique evening showcases contemporary chamber music by living female composers, with each selection paired with a specially chosen chocolate from Miami's Romanicos Chocolate."
This version:
- Emphasizes the unique nature of the event without explicitly using the phrase "innovative concert format."
- Clearly introduces the key elements: chamber music, female composers, and the chocolate pairings.
- Provides a natural transition into the details of the pairings.
I believe this version offers a more elegant and concise solution to the transition issue.
