Looking to make a positive impact on the environment? Join Miami EcoAdventures at A.D. Barnes Park Nature Center for EcoAction Day. On Saturday, November 23, Saturday, December 21 and Saturday, January 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., you can lend a hand in preserving local natural habitats.
Under the guidance of experienced naturalists, volunteers will participate in essential park maintenance tasks. These may include removing invasive plant species, planting native flora, mulching and litter cleanup. By volunteering, you'll help protect the delicate balance of the ecosystem and contribute to the beauty of A.D. Barnes Park.
Community service hours will be provided at the event's conclusion. Please note that volunteers under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
