Island Grooves Fest: Victoria Blue

Island Grooves Fest continues on Friday, January 3, 2025 with a performance by celebrated singer-songwriter Victoria Blue. Known for her blend of pop, R&B and soul with strong Latin influences, Blue draws from her Afro-Cuban and Puerto-Rican roots to bridge the gap between American and Latin cultures. Her Spanish language music is reminiscent of La India, Celia Cruz, Juan Luis Guerra and Jose Feliciano, while her English language music leans towards Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Gloria Gaynor. She's been awarded "Best Outstanding Vocalist" at the National Music Festival in New York and featured in Season 3 of Fox Network's hit show The X Factor USA.

Blue brings her sultry tones and electrifying vocal range to the Arsht Center's Thompson Plaza of the Arts, as part of the Live on the Plaza concert series lineup. Doors open at 6 p.m. with happy hour specials, and general admission seating is first-come, first-served.
